"Drunken Pilots Start Their Own Airline!"

I just got back from the grocery store. At the checkout counter there was a supermarket tabloid with the headline "Drunken Pilots Start Their Own Airline!" If this is true, I have some questions. What equipment will they operate, where will their hubs be? Will they be union or non-union? Where will they fly to?

Just wondering...

I'm guessing all liquor is free on these flights like soda is currently.
As far as hubs, here is what I would think they would be (at least top three):

-St. Louis
-Denver
-Milawkee

I'm sure there will be a union for them. Overall, this is kind of funny, and kind of scary.

They will charter NW DC-9's and Southwest 737's and fly from Europe to Hawaii non-stop.

Hey, when will AA phase out their Fokker 100's?  Laugh out loud

Oops! I mistakenly thought this post was about our friend the American Airlines pilot turned preacher!  Laugh out loud

Maybe he'll try to land the plane on the deck of an aircraft carier just for show....  Innocent

Fanofjets:

Just to clue you in, the AA pilot wasn't drunk. He's just enraptured. There is a distinct difference, and your characterization is offensive.

I've forgotten who said that!

I'm sorry if this is out of line, but are the flight attendants drunk too?

Coors is from Golden Colorado, not Denver.

I suspect those guys will also fly to Olympia, Washington too.

I expect their first international destination will be Munich Germany.

thier fleet will not be aircraft, but cars. They will put paper wings on them and try to "fly" from the middle of downtown...when they're sober, they'll find out on the news that "50 people are injured following random cars with paper wings driving through buildings around town." The best part, they won't remember a thing!

This was in last week's issue of "Weekly World News". The airline is said to be called "Booze Air". I really didn't read all of the article because I was laughing too hysterically to finish it.

Sorry to correct you, but the Oktoberfest is actually taking place in September. Kind of weird because of the name but it's done because the possibility of good weather is a lot higher in September than in October.

Cheers

"I suspect those guys will also fly to Olympia, Washington too" from L-188. There is one problem the Olympia Brewery is not operational because of stupid politics in Olympia, WA. Miller Brewing company and its parent decided to shut it down instead of paying something like 20 million to fix somethings like permits and such.
