SN Brussels Airlines says it will reach break even in 2003, maybe even end the year with a slight positive result!
So far, all but one month (i.e. December) are fully reviewed and approved and the results up to November show a net profit of €0,6 million on a net revenue of €487 million. The final figures for last year will only be released after approval by the Board in March.
Not bad for a company build on the ashes of Sabena...

Some more achievements....
SN's market share in Belgium increased from 44,3% (2002) to 50,2% (2003), making SN the indisputable number one in Brussels.
SN's load factor rose 11% compared to 2002.
The average punctuality throughout 2003 reached an excellent score of 91,80% (compared to the AEA average of 80,05%), placing SN in 3rd position in the Association of European Airlines ranking.
For 2004, it seems SN plans to increase its profitability during weekends and holiday periods by means of charter flights from GVA to several Mediterranean holiday destinations (PMI, IBZ, MRS, Corsica,...). For the upcoming summer season, SN has already contracted more than 43% more hours than in 2003.
