The final investigation report covering the accident on October 8, 2001 at the Linate Airport in Milan is now completed. The Commission of Inquiry released the report today at press conferences in Rome and Stockholm. Both the Italian and the Swedish members of the Commission are in full agreement about the content of the report.

"October 8, 2001, will always be inscribed in SAS history as a day of mourning. Grief and a deep sense of loss for relatives, friends and co-workers lingers, while at the same time we must move on with our lives," says Jørgen Lindgaard, SAS CEO. "Therefore, we now welcome the fact that the Commission has advanced so far with its work that a final report is available."
