Just wondering who is up for some spotting at YYZ on Saturday, and who might be going to the TNew passenger trials that same day? I already know that a few Canadian big shots from airliners.net will be there, and I will let them state who they are. Should be a good day, and the passenger trial should be half decent, and better than the last couple.

Well, I'm not going to the trials (I spend enough time at airports) but since I'm flying out the next day I figure now is as good a time as any to come down and party with the YYZ spotters.

I understand that FLYYUL will be flying in from Montreal for the occasion.

Perhaps Yyz717 will grace us with his presence? I'll buy both Neil and Mark a drink just to have the pleasure of seeing them in the same room!

Unless of course Neil has a Biathlon to complete or a Himalayan peak to climb.  Big grin

Hi YYZUla, welcome to airliners.net! Too bad you can't make it.

Sean, definitely looking forward to meeting you. Unfortunately, I think Neil will be sailing on Lake Ontario this weekend, so he wont be able to make it.  Sad

G ... I'll email you the details.

Looking good so far!

What's the deal with the T1 test on Saturday. I didn't sign up for this one as I had expected to be in Florida. When I checked their site last week it just said the next test would be in March!

Is there anything I need to know about this test - such as having to bring luggage or being at a different time?

John.

Hi John. The idea is the same as before. It starts at 9am, or so they say. Lunch will be in the 3 bay hangar in the infield. Bring your camera, because we just may get a glimpse of the 707 inside. All in all, I'm definitely looking forward to this one.

Later today or tomorrow I will send an email to Canuck and Vapor.

I hate to say it, but the weather is looking quite crappy for that day. Rain or snow, just above freezing. Hmmmm, fantastic! Will be a miracle if FLYYUL's flight arrives on time!  Big grin

If we do it a week later, I can come.

BUT if yyz717 agrees to meet FLYYUL, I may deign to make an appearance! That would be worth the trip. It may happen, they've been unusually civil to each other in the past few weeks...

Ironically, other than a flight out of YTZ and a ride into Union Station on VIA - I've probably spend more time in Montreal than I have in downtown Toronto over the last few months!  Smile

So... no Neil/Mark fireworks this weekend then.  Sad

What about Behramjee? MartinairYYZ? I want to meet all the YYZ (and catchment area) folks! Come one, come all.

I'll see if I can come but I get a feeling that my other half is gonna slap me...

Best way to coordinate is by email at this point, because it is impossible to know where we may be at any given point. Depends on many factors, including the weather. I sent you an email by the way, hope you got it.
