- MAS doesn't have any B773s. And their B777-200s all have PTVs!
- ANA and JAL DO have PTVs in all of their B777s. I know that from a reliable source.
- Varig has PTVs in every seat, Egypt Air does not.
Some other which don't have PTVs in Eco:
- Aeroflot
- Air Austral
- China Southern (-200 NON-ER)
- United domestic B777s

Korean 773's don't have PTV's and some of the older 772's also aren't fitted with them. However, all new deliveries are being installed with AVOD in all classes.

Vietnam Airlines doesn't have the PTVs in their two newest 777s that fly regional routes to NRT, SYD and MEL.
Sorry to hear you had a bad flight on CA. I flew them PEK-HKG on a 777 in 2001 and had a nice flight with friendly F/As and good food but without PTVs.

I think the CA staff does not reach the standard, especially the ground staff. Those ground staff at the boarding gate are..... They cannot make a clear annoucement, and they seems want to throw the boarding pass to you after tearing off. They even do say good morning, good afternoon, etc.
