Includes summer destinations in Saint John, N.B., Fredericton, Stephenville. Greater frequency for Halifax, St. John's, Nfld.
Montreal/February 19, 2004 - Jetsgo is increasing its overall service to Atlantic Canada with changes to the year-round schedule beginning in April and summer destinations being added in June.

Weekday flights between Halifax and Toronto will move to three per day from two, starting April 8, providing service at key times throughout the day. In St. John's, Nfld., service to Toronto will increase to five flights per week from four, on April 7. An additional improvement on this route is a change to non-stop flights between the two cities starting April 18, allowing more connectivity to the Jetsgo network.

Short-term schedule changes for flights from Toronto to Sydney, N.S., and Charlottetown, will see one weekly flight from mid-April to late-June, at which time the current number of three flights per week will be reestablished for the summer as non-stop flights from Toronto.

The summer schedule is also notable for the addition of Fredericton as a first-time Jetsgo destination. Fredericton and Saint John, N.B., will each receive three times weekly service beginning June 24. Stephenville will also rejoin the schedule on June 30, with one flight per week. This will increase to two weekly flights on July 31. Jetsgo's summer program will remain in place through the Labor Day weekend for most destinations.

"This schedule results in an even stronger Jetsgo presence in the region compared to the same time last year," said Michel Leblanc, president of Jetsgo. "We look forward to another great summer in Atlantic Canada, offering low fares and great service."

Jetsgo's summer schedule for the rest of Canada will be announced in the coming weeks.

Headquartered in Montreal with 615 employees, Jetsgo currently offers scheduled discount air service to 11 Canadian and six U.S. destinations, including Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Charlottetown, Halifax, Sydney, and St. John's, Nfld., New York (Newark), Las Vegas, and St. Petersburg, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Fort Myers in Florida. For full schedule and booking information, log on to jetsgo.net, phone the call centre at 1-866-440-0441 or contact a travel agent. All registered jetsgo.net users are eligible for Jetsmiles, Jetsgo's frequent flier program.

Yeah no kidding! I never understood why they flew to YYR in the first place!

Guys, does anyone know if JetsGo is interested in adding flights to cities such as Quebec City or Saguenay?
