Is it still possible to fly, say LAX-BOS using only scheduled prop flights on a variety of different carriers? What would the routing be?

I have a feeling that would be difficult to do. Very few props remain in the middle section of the country, at least in areas where you could fly continually east-west. For example, you could take a prop from DFW to ABI, but you couldn't get further west from ABI on a prop. I'd suggest looking at some of Mesa's schedules, you might be able to use their B1900s to help you out.

OK, here's another one, but this one is not broken down into days like the nice one above. This is just possible a possible combination of routings. Codeshares just include the major in most cases:

LAX/FAT - AA
FAT/SFO/MFR/PDX - UA
PDX/BOI/IDA - AS
IDA/SLC/JAC - DL
JAC/DEN - UA
DEN/WDG/PNC/DFW - YV
DTW/ACT - AA
ACT/IAH/MLU - CO
MLU/MEM/LEX/DTW/CLE - NW
CLE/AVP/ALB/BOS - C5

All flights are turbo props.

Here's another:

LAX-OO-YUM-YV-PHX-ZK-FMN-ZK-DEN-ZK-PIR-XJ-ABR-XJ-MSP-XJ-CWA-XJ-DTW-XJ-ERI-S5-PIT-US*-MDT-C5-ALB-C5-BOS

I'm the expert on here on two things, neither of which I care about much anymore.
