HI THERE,
Could anyone possibly tell me what the current financial status is of Flyjet Airlines and what they have planned for summer 2004 etc .
1) WHO ARE THEIR BACKERS/INVESTERS
2)ARE THEY FINANCIALLY SECURE GIVEN THE CURRENT AVIATION SITUATION
3) PLANS FOR THE FUTURE (aircraft, dest etc)
4) WHATS THEIR SUMMER 2004 PROG LIKE AND WHO ARE THEIR MAIN TOUR OPS.
Im thinking of applying to them, but not sure on their status in this aviation world.....i allready work for an airline that is currently downsizing and have had enough to be honest of all the cut backs etc and as this airline seems to be doing ok....i wanna make sure im going to a stable charter company before i jump ship as i have had my fingers burnt before and dont want to go through it again.....its not nice.
Do i just ride the rough with the smooth like allways or is it time to go.... we shall see.
That's their website if you haven't already looked at it. I flew with them last year to Heraklion and that was with Olympic Holidays. Wasn't the best experience, so I'm hoping they will have improved, now they have more experience.

Hi I got a job with Flyjet as crew having previously flown as crew with a different airline last year, they go to the unwanted destinations such as Saudi, Jedda, Tel Aviv, Israel etc.
Nice company, but the wrong type to start off your flying career with.
Good standing but you would be better off with a charter.

I know that FlyJet operated charters from MAN and LGW last summer to Spain, Cyprus, Greece etc but have been pretty quiet through the Winter months. They're now currently operating ad-hoc charters and operating flights 3 times weekly from BHX-BTS-ATQ on behalf of Slovak Airlines.
They were rumoured to be aquiring a B767 for there Summer 2004 season when they again plan to do European Charter flights
