hmm, looking at the 380 against the 747 pics posted above--the upper deck of the 747 is not as rounded as the 380 is, so yes, the view will not be quite the same, and the angle of the 380 windows is many more degrees past 90 than the 747 upper deck.
but i dont think the angle of incidence on the 380 will really make much of a difference for people sitting up there.

Fuffla - I thought it was quite a bit different. When sitting at the tarmac the closest thing you could see on the ground was about 10 feet from the plane. The other thing is because of the curvature, I thought that the gap between the two window panes was quite a bit larger, maybe 2-3 inches. This made the angle a little worse. Still well worth the experience though.
