In the North-East are having snow showers every few minutes, with blizzards due by Tuesday. How will this affect air travel this week? More organised chaos by any chance? Arrivals look fine for NCL for today but god help us if we do get the blizzards, more cancellations, delays and diversions.

Try looking into Halifax's Airport schedule this past weekend in Canada. They got, get this, 107 cm of snow in one dump.... almost 30 inches... now that's snow.. plus another 25cm over the weekend.. and the airport, well I can bet there were significant flight delays but being true Canadians they can handle it without calling in the army or something......

Yes, but a "blizzard" in the UK is like a light snow shower in the US. I've been in the UK when they've had "blizzards." Everything shuts down. Especially when accumulations start getting to be a full inch.
