I'm interested in seeing if anyone has seen the new QF uniforms and what is the general opinion.

I just flew NRT-PER-NRT on QF and saw a young blond woman wearing a dress that even my grandmother wouldn't wear, but the other crews wore other options in the ensemble and they looked okay - apart from the inflight tunic.

It amazes me how airlines have a chance to enhance their corporate image by introducing new uniforms. They spend loads of money hiring in fancy "designers" and consultants and come up with some awful "concepts".

I'm BA crew and the last 2 uniforms were disasters - ask anyone about the "deckchair" uniform.

I mentioned this on my recent trip report from MEL-SFO but the new uniforms look great! When i first saw them on the website, I thought they looked hideous, but in real life, they are the most stylish flight uniform currently. It's pretty much all cool black with white shirts and brown aboriginal art patterned scaves and ties. Very VERY cool.
The BA uniform is frumpy and so 'Nana'. Reminds me of other 'great' english uniforms like the vomitous grey frocks of Marks and Spencer staff.

Long Haul is the only way to go

I personally like the majority of options - but the aboriginal print dress looks very "busy" on some of the larger FAs.

I think that they look very nice, although it does not look all that hot on the "heavier" males and females.

Having too wear this uniform is very uncomfortable. its majority polyester so feels like wearing a plastic bag. The black pants and jacket are fine , except for the lining of the jacket. looks horrible and i think the motive and print of the ties and brown dress will date very quickly. Its an unoriginal concept. Most crew are split 50/50 on the uniform.

The new QF uniform certainly a welcome change. The crew stand out from the other airlines. Both female and male versions of the uniform look very attractive.  Smokin cool

I think the women's one looks good if wear with the black jacket. However, it's not easy for them to wear it well because of the material.

cathay pacific, now you're really flying

Our new uniforms are due in April BA time - which should mean Sep/Oct.

They will be dark grey with fine pin striping, silver buttons and red lining.

They actually look really good, but again, may be a bit much for some of the larger crews.

Anything has to be better than the current uniform, except maybe the pink First Choice uniform.

The best uniform I ever wore was for Air Atlanta Icelandic - we even had epaulettes!
