I watched it when I was in Taiwan last December. I loved the show.

I also live in the LA area, and I was wondering what AHC is so I can "Good Luck" again! Hehehe.

I watched the series last year when it aired in Japan - it was on from January-March 2003. Also, some Japanese video stores in San Francisco have it available for rent, so if you are in an area with a large Japanese-speaking population it may be available for rent.

For now, the videos are only in Japanese, and has no English-language subtitles. But it is a great way to see the worklife inside a Japanese airline. In fact, employment applications to both ANA and JAL went up the year this drama series was broadcast.

If you want to get an idea of how a Japanese Airlines operates then this is the show to watch. Not only will you get an idea of how a Japanese Airline operates but how a Japanese company works.
For all who always wonders why and how Asian airlines are and could consistantly be better than the US, then after watching this show you will understand; you will see how strict they are on rules, policy, and conduct.
Also, this show is based on ANA - All Nippon Airways, so it shows the pilots and the cabin attendants working on the ground and on in flight, which is what this show is about. It's the show about the lives of people who works for ANA.
I hear that right now they are showing this drama on TV in Los Angeles, if you want to get a copy with English Subtiltes then you should wait till the show finishes airing in Los Angeles then you will be able to find copies with ENG Subtitles on ebay.
I would recommend this show highly!

no not that one.

I have the DVD collection for good luck.

The show is not that bad. Although a lot of mistakes on aircraft model.

At times Kimura would sit in a 767 cockpit preparing for flight. And actual flight would show a 747-400. Or take off using a 747-200 and in flight it becomes a 747-400.

Also, the interior shot on all flights were using 747-400D. No 747-400D can fly to HNL from Narita.

LOL... yeah thats funny too. I notice the wrong aircraft models. But they do seem to press the buttons at the right location though, like fasten seatbelts, landing gears etc.

but still worthy of seeing.
