Yes it is quite close to the T-1. It is just 3 min walk from RER station CDG I. You could easily find the map of the terminal at the site of Paris Airports.
And location charts of some hotels also shows it sometimes.

ADP website sucks ! it is so outdated that they probably still mention Swissair or even Pan Am ! I am going to try to give you a list.
I'll try to get you the exact list of all airlines serving CDG next friday, when I'll go to work.
I going to try to give you some indications already, but I will probably forget some names.
Air France is still using all terminals at CDG 2. There should not be anymore AF flight from 2A next summer, and the next terminal to see the "evacuation" of AF flights should be the 2B.
In a near Future, 2A should be modified to welcome all the Star Alliance Airlines.
All AF flights will be concentrated on 2C, 2D, 2E, 2E and the brand new Satellite S3, opening in 2006.
Terminal 2E is used only by AF and non E.U SkyTeam partners : Delta, Korean, and CSA.
ALL AF's Long haul flights leave from 2C, 2E and 2F1.
2F2 is only for Domestic and European "schengen" destinations (considered as domestic flights : no Immigration or custom control.)
Terminal 2F is also used by :
Alitalia, TAM Brazil, MEA, Japan Airlines. KLM will move its flights at 2F next summer season.
2A is used by : AF, American Airline, Air Mauritius, Air Seychelles, Air Austral, Air Madagascar, China Eastern, Air Canada, Qantas, Air Tahiti Nui, Continental, Air India, Vietnam Airlines, TAAG Angola Airlines ...
2B is used by : AF, Air Algerie, British Airways, LOT, Malev, Croatia Airlines, Aeroflot, Adria Airways, TAROM, Bulgaria Air, Iberia, Yugoslav Airlines and more... :-(
2D : AF, Finnair, Swiss, Austrian Airlines, Luxair, Maersk Denmark,
2C : Air France, AeroMexico (should move to 2E when it will operate at full capacity)
The Terminal T3 is ex-Terminal T0, Used only by charter airlines and Meridiana, Afriqyiah, EasyJet, West African Airlines.
All other airlines go to Terminal 1, including LuftHansa, United, SAS, Aer Lingus, Singapore, ANA, Malaysian, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Sri Lankan, Eva Airways, NorthWest, US.Airways, Varig, Avianca, SAA, Saudia, Thai Airways, Yemen Airways, Ethiopian Airlines, Azerbaidjan Airlines, Ukraine International, Armenian Airlines, Kuwait Airways, PIA, Air China, Aerolinea Argentina, Air Gabon, Olympic Airways, Aegean Airways, Cameroon Airlines, TACV (Cabo Verde), etc... etc...

That's what they want, especially LH, and they put the pressure on ADP for that. It won't be possible before 2006 anyway, when the new Satellite S3 will be available, and AF & its Skyteam partners only will concentrate their operations on the terminal 2C/2D/2E/2F, leaving completely free 2A and 2B.

BA moved to CDG2B last November, for the winter 2003/2004 schedule, as renovation work has started in CDG T1.
The decision to build an airport in the north of Paris was taken in January 1964.
Inauguration of Roissy-CDG airport took place officially on March 13th 1974.
The first flight to "open" traffic at CDG was UTA flight UT562 to Papeete-PPT.
This was of course at that time only CDGT1.
CDG 2 (A & B )was officially inaugurated by President F.Mitterrand on March 24th 1982. AF started operations from CDG2A on March 28th 1982.
CDG 2D was opened for traffic on March 26th 1989.
Flight operations started at CDG 2C on March 28th 1993, and the terminal was officially inaugurated on June 3rd 1996.
The first section if the Terminal 2F (2F1) was inaugurated on March 29th 1998
and the second section (2F2) on May 6th 1999.
MEA is using the 2F2, like JAL & TAM while Alitalia is using the 2F1 (reserved for "Schengen" destinations an French domestic flights ).
Before, Alitalia was operating from Terminal 2D, and JAL from 2C. TAM was not operating flights to Paris-CDG before 2F was opened.
The new Terminal 2E was inaugurated last June 2003.
There is no S1 and S2 Satellite.
S3 will be a huge building, built perpendicularly right after the terminals 2E & 2F.
Passengers will check-in for flights in terminal 2E or 2F and will use an automatic train to reach Satellite S3, to board their flights. Several gates at this Satellite will be especially designed for the A380 (double deck jetways). On the following Picture :

What did MEA use before Terminal 2F opened?
I read Satellite S3 will have 16-gates, quite impressive. From the picture you showed me, it looks like it will be rectangular. Most satellites I have seen are circular, although some like the ones in Seattle are rectangular.
Will this one be circular or rectangular?
Any idea why it is being called S3? Are there plans for an S1 and S2 in the future, is that why they are calling this one S3?
Also, I know there is a very small 3-gate round satellite that goes off Terminal 2A. Was this added later on?
How is renovation on Terminal 1 doing?

The satellite S3 will be rectangular. and HUGE ! It is not a terminal as there no check-in facilities. Only boarding lounges. As I mentionned in my previous post, PAX will check-in at the 2F and 2E. They called it "S3" to avoid confusion S2/T2 or S1/T1.
The small round satellite on the side of terminal 2A was added much later than the terminal itself. It was buit rapidely and inaugurated just 3 or 4 years ago. It doesn't have a specific name, as it's a part of 2A. We call it the "Flying Saucer".
MEA transfered its flights directly from ORY to CDG2F.
