Nice, new animal pic. Wonder if it'll end up a character in the ads?

That's a nice new animal picture. I think that Frontier has some of the best looking tails in the business. Thanks for the link.

cheers, Ralph

Don't they already have that ram on one of their tails or was it just on one of the 737s?

Thanks for the comments everyone.

You know, I remember when people were in disbelief over another airline going with a billboard livery. I was skeptical myself, until I saw one in person. F9 pulled it off perfectly. . .and the animals are like the icing on the cake. So now, when you can hangout on the bridge between the terminal and Concourse A at DIA. . .it is quite a scene when the gates are loaded (like in the ads). And I can tell you, the exposure and awards that F9 has gotten sure make a lot of Colorado locals proud.

Cheers

Typically, how much does the photographer/designer get paid for this?

Mainzblu_757:

A couple of years ago, Frontier said that they would pay $1000 for each animal photo they used.

I would guess that's still true.

cheers

Very nice tail. I think Frontier have one on the best colour schemes around today.

If I were choosing animals for the next set of tails, I might choose a cardinal, goldfinch, or blue jay. Would look nice...

Lindy field: I know they have a hummingbird. . .but I'd really like to see one of your suggestions though, the Cardinal specifically. It's my favorite bird. And what a splash of color it would make on an F9 tail.

Do they have a freshwater fish? No? Then how about a Rainbow Trout?

Maybe when they announce service to Ohio the Cardinal will be featured as it is the State bird of Ohio.
