Pardon my ignorance, but what is Ferrara City?

I would have thought the 7th 777 should be named "City of Las Vegas!" Big grin

Ferrara is a city in north Italy, south of Milan and west of Venice. It was a major center of arts, culture and architecture during the renaissance (15th,16th centuries),and is now in Unesco's World Heritage List.Supposedly full of fine palaces and museums.

They have currently 5 B777s (the PH-BQE has been delivered last week and will enter service anytime soon)

What's the fifth 777 (PH-BQE) being named? And does anybody know what the names for the eighth aircraft onwards are going to be?

When is Tokyo starting? I heard it was March or April?

Also, what about rumours, a few months back, that MD11s might be going to Osaka. I'm hoping to go there in May (now you know how I get my KIX!)

Hello,

Starting from last weekend another route has be added, flying with the B777-200ER. This destination is Kuwait. Yesterday it was the last added B777, the PH-BQE who went to Kuwait, but came back with a 7 hours delay at AMS, because of crew sickness. Have no idea when KL will start the SFO route. About the question from Kaitak, I don't think it's true they will use a MD-11 on the KIX (Osaka) route, because it's one of KLM's best routes, with always capacity problems, the flight is always full with passengers and with cargo (because KL uses the B747-400 combi on that route!)

Groeten SPL

SPL, you forget that KIX is a relatively low yield destination (too many tourists). However the B747s are still scheduled for summer 2004
