Hi all, im just wondering how many different airlines there are in australia?

From the top of my head
Virgin Blue
Jetstar (Qantas)
Australian Airlines (Qantas)

A few other smaller ones, might have to check the airport websites as well.

Major or minor? Total, there are heaps. Other than that, as Sydscott said, there are three major ones (two companies).

A couple of others that come to mind are National Jet and Skippers Aviation, and the various QantasLink companies.
