German Media is reporting that Thomas Cook is thinking about renaming Thomas Cook Airlines (powered by Condor) in Germany back to Condor.
It's not official yet but it looks as if they realized that it was a bad idea renaming a well known brand.

The TC logo on the tail will stay? Strange, because there are already three A320s (CD, CF, CH) in interim livery which used to have the TC logo stickered on the tail, but now they have the Condor logo on the tail again:

Well the best would be if they do it the way they used to have it before they painted their planes into Thomas Koch and that was to add the TC ugly sticker up front below the cockpit windows. Just about the size of the Star Alliance Logo.
Anyways good news that there will finally be a Condor again.

Now who would have thought that top management is capable of reversing grave mistakes they have made before? With the ousting of Mr. Pichler and his equally incapable cronies, Condor is now hopefully again on the way to recovery.
And I just have to stress Patrick's (Sabena332) point again: I wonder how much money they blew out for such a moronic decision to rename one of the most respected brands in the German leisure market into the idiotic "Thomas Koch"?
Some of those marketing idiots deserve a swift kick in the A$$. Good to see that some common sense is coming back here.
