Iran Air (Iran's national carrier) has an ageing but very well maintained fleet: Fokker 100, Boeing 737-200, 727-200, 747-SP, 747-200, 747-100, Airbus 300-B2k, 300-600, 310-300, 310-200, 321-200 (lease).
Do you know what future fleet plans Iran Air has and when they will modernize their current fleet? Thanks for replying!

I don't know about there fleet plan, but they are very well maintained. I went aboard their B747-200s and B747SPs and was surprised to see the good condition of these old aircraft. The legroom is amazing, but they do lack 'modern comforts' like personal T.Vs.
As about their future plans, US sanctions put a hold on that. I don't think they can purchase new aircraft that have over 15 or 20% American parts (not sure about that value). They ordered A330s a few years ago when the Iranian leader went to Paris (it was a big event as we was the first Iranian leader to visit France in a long time). Airbus tried to use a British engine (RR) but for some reason the order did not go through-why, I really don't know.
