SNN is a requirement to any airline that flies US-DUB, but it also carried great load factors last summer (not sure about the details.) GLA is just an attempt to build on something that they're actually making money on, which is US-Europe. (It was also announced about 6 months ago  Smile).

I'd rather be flying.

I think this route has a lot of seats on it for US, and they should try the CO and now AA trick of running a 757 on the route.

We will see....

Yes, How is they doing on their flight from PHL-SNN/DUN? Can you tell me how much precent with those load factors? Is that still for the summer seasonal flight to SNN/DUB?

There are literally hundreds of transatlantic routes that US Airways could fly if it wanted to.

If you're referring to routes that US Airways used to operate but no longer operates, US has in the past operated BWI-LGW, BOS-FRA, CLT/PIT-CDG, and PHL-BRU. BRU is the only European city US has pulled out of completely.

AA use a 763 in the summer ORD-GLA.

CO use 764 summer, 762 winter EWR-GLA.

US Airways has 5 B767-201/ER aircraft delivered new to Piedmont in 1987 & 1988 and 5 B767-2B7/ER aircraft delivered new to USAir between 1990 and 1993.
