No they didnt. As far as i know only the Dash 8, F28, 732, A320, 763ER and 744 made it into the goose.

DC-10 woulda looked sweet though.

Alas, no. The closest we came was the fake that Mikephotos made :-(

Proud Wings was the best Canadian livery, with the orange, red and silver CP Air livery being the best in the CP history IMHO.

How would they have done the goose with that engine in the middle of the tail?

*Sigh*, that Canadi>n DC-10 does look beautiful in the "Proud Wings" livery, if I do say so myself.

My brother recently sent me two Irish Waterford Crystal glasses, with a beautiful golden Goose ("Proud Wings") emblem on each glass. He got them at an aviation auction/sale out in YVR. They were to be introduced in the planned revamped Empress Class service for 1999/2000. I love them! Great additions to my ever growing Canadi>n/CP Air collection.

FYI: Did you know that, prior to the "demise" of Canadi>n Airlines International, plans were underway to not only revamp and improve Empress Class, but to rename it, "Canadi>n Club". I rather like that name.

I think the Goose looked great on Mikesphoto DC-10. It looked great period! I sure miss seeing Canadi>n at Dorval! Big grin

It does look great - painted on a flat fin. I wonder how it would look in real life with the shape of the engine distorting it when seen at an angle from the front or rear.

They did actually test out the goose on the DC-10 tail, and it didn't look good at all, and since the planes were on their way out anyway, they didnt paint them.
