"IB IS KNOWN FOR ITS UNCOMFORTABLE CABINS (...) A TOTAL OF 147 SEATS.VERY COMPARABLE TO OTHER AIRLINES SUCH AS LH,150 SEATS AND BA,145 SEATS"
Do not contradict yourself,MEA321.Or for you LH and BA are too "uncomfortables" or you are difficulty yourself
By the way...How many times have you flown in Iberia?

all those airline's seating suck compared to MEA. MEA have a strech of the A320, they have the A321 and they only have 149 seats (31 cedar class and 118 "tourist" class)
So I guess MEA have the one of best seating for a narrow body

ANY airline in the world, even the worst one, would make money on flights to & from Lebanon during the high season MAY / OCTOBER, as there is such a lack of seat offered, and such a strong demand from the Lebanese diaspora around the globe... It is very strange that an airline like IB didn't do its best to start this service BEFORE the season... It's like starting operating special ski charters to the Alps resorts in July !

It shouldn't be an availability of A-320s question. Even in the busiest time of the day for medium distance flights, the morning (between 07.00 and 11.00), when the airframe is still coming back from BEY and theoretically needed most for the current schedule, there are still a dozen of MD-80s, 757s and Airbuses left over loitering at M AD not doing anything. Other airlines like KLM use their 737s on BEY and other near-east routes between 19.00 and 06.00 to keep them busy during the night, while they fly to M AD, LHR, FCO etc. during daytime.
nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

Most likely the postponment of the introduction of flights until September is due to the entry of new aircraft which is not scheduled or has been delayed until then. Remember, starting up a new station requires many factors....hiring personnel, goverment rights, aircraft, etc. Im not suprised that it has been postponed until Sept. 01st.

I hate airlines that cram their Eco class. That's why I will never try a LCC on anything longer than 2 hours and will never fly AA eco class. That's also why I love MEA's eco and Cedar Class.
When I was flying on AA's first class it felt like MEA Eco, which is still good!
