UAL rolled out a new ad campaign on Sunday, broadcast during the academy Award show on ABC. Only shown in their hub cities, most of the commercials are animated features with the voiceover of Robert Redford and are produced by award winning film makers.
This is from an article in the NY Times and my question:
Do you think ad campaigns work? One thread in the article suggested that all travelers are interested in are price cuts. I don't think so.

I think it is going to be effective - the entire campaign was emailed to frequent fliers - it is at http://www.unitedrhapsody.com/. I guess if there are still passengers who value what they are offering, it will be successful.
