Thoughts? Comments? I personally like the NW and WN painted winglets and wing fences. It spices up the grey. If they are going to paint them, why not spice it up? Plug (If available) and link shots of your favs.

Frontier's got my favorite winglet: the one with the Canada Goose. I find it amusing to look out the window and see a goose flying alongside the plane.
Sorry about the small pic, I couldn't find a better one.
Andz, you beat me by a couple minutes!

Second edit: I just noticed that the topic is about painted winglets. I just realized that these are neither painted nor winglets! But they're nifty stickered wing fences.

Sorry about the bad pic, I couldn't find a better one.
I don't possibly see how that's a bad photo . . . the composition is good, the color scheme (winglet) is nice, and the backdrop is beautiful!
Any airline with color schemes on their winglets are nice. As AviatorTJ said, winglets without any color can be very boring.

I did not know F9 had the wing fences painted! Those are pretty sweet. Just imagine if they ever got an A330, they could really fit something on those winglets.

It has to be EI! Those shamrocks on the A330's are great!

Never mind, looks like the comment is edited. It's still a nice photo, even though the photographer didn't zoom in to the winglet. As I said, there ia a nice background.

I didn't mean that the photo was bad. I meant that the winglet in the small size of the picture was small and kinda hard to see unless clicked on. I guess you saw my post before I edited it. No hard feelings to the photographer, I think the pic is an excellent one with the mountain, in fact it's in my wall paper rotation.

Royal Jordanian and Virgin, for sure
On RJ, it looks pretty classy. Very matching with the rest of the aircraft.
As for Virgin, the Bitish have the coolest flag ever. Simple as that.

I'd agree with everyone here who said that Virgin has the best looking winglets, that British flag out on the end of the wing always looks great.

South African, Aloha and Virgin in that order are my favorites...Nothing against the others, I just like the color.
Have a great day and stay dry! It is raining like cats and dogs here in usually sunny NE Oklahoma. So much for a trip to TUL this afternoon to break in the new Fuji S5000.....

25 SafetyDude: VS 744...simply amazing. F9 and a bunch of other airlines are great. It makes such a difference when they are painted; the wings look like part of a p
