Many of you have said that we won't here any more big news from MEA untill it is privateized.
Well, lets see what routes MEA should open and could make profit off of.
I know a lot of you like to live in the realistic world but come on, playalong
And does anyone have news on MEA aircraft interior. any changes? Any thing? photos? Anything?!?!?!?!?!

Yeah MEA does have a lack of long range flights.
I guess the only one is GRU which will be coming up very soon.
They need to open Hong Kong or KUL or Bangkock or Singapore so they could get the pax going on to Austraila

If some of the always-rumoured routes like GRU, YUL and Australia became true, that would already be a big step forward! This is wishful thinking already, but to see them coming back in strenghts to all the major global hubs in the next 18-24 months is an illusion (unfortunately...)

I would like to see them back in OZ, but I can't see it happening. With such Middle Eastern airlines like, Emirates soon to be double daily into Sydney and Melbourne soon and Gulf Air flying daily into Sydney and rumours of Qatar's entry into the Australian market, there doesn't seem any room for MEA to come back.

Zizou - MEA flew to Australia years ago.
Unfortunately the Aussie-Market is not a good deal for Airlines from Europe and maybe that's the reason they won't fly there in the future. Would love that too.

are you people smoking? BEY-DXB-KHI? KUL? these flights will get killed unless MEA develops a hub at BEY. Even with the hub BEY-DXB-KHI will get killed. KHI is a lousy market for most carriers - the yields are GHASTLY.
interiors are great, but need a LOT more pitch in business class.

OD720, in my experiences with MEA 707's I'd say that the interiors were really not standardized.
However I predict that the -320C's had approximately.........................(thinking)...........16 seats in C class. i doubt there were more than 4 rows, the seats were spaced out and there was TONS and TONS of legroom. Loud aircraft but bloody comfortable.
I guess my speculation doesn't really help you, OD720! you know, we could always take a fieldtrip to BEY and have a look at that 707 sitting on the side of the sea runway...
