Hi there chaps,

Probably get flamed for asking this  Big grin Oh well..

I am flying on these two flights (LHR-MAN-LHR) in just under 24 hours and I was wandering what the tail numbers are likely to be for these two BD flights? BD584 is an Airbus A320 and the BD593 is an Airbus A321.

Many thanks,

Justin  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

I flew on their A320 to Nice from LHR, and an A321 on the return flight. I have to say the A321 is a much better aircraft (in terms of flying experience). The seats are abit more comfortable and the jets are newer than the A320s.

Have a great flight

I really hope that the A321 is in these colours:

Horus - some of the A320s are much newer than the A321s - particularly G-MIDR, G-MIDP and G-MIDO which have all been delivered relatively recently.

Justin: just wait till it shows up at your gate, it's always nice when it stays a surprise till the last moment...  Big grin

Hope to see a trip report! Big grin

Have a nice flight

Don't be surprised if different aircraft operate your flights, as changes do occur, based on aircraft availability and demand. For example, I flew LHR-MAN on Wednesday which was scheduled to be a 321 but was, in fact, a 320.

Flown BMI A321 before. Not overly impressed. Good thing about the flight was the cockpit door was jammed open for the whole return flight, pre 9/11 of course. To me it looked like an a320 inside but had less go, performance wise. The A320 will be best me thinks.

You could catch the new A319 which is in Manchester most days!
Love the smell of new planes, a bit like new cars.

BD584-06/03/04-A321 Didn't get the tail number!  Sad
