I was a little curious, what are some of AA's current routes to HNL? I know they used to fly the old TWA route from STL-HNL, but cut it during the massive cuts just over half a year ago. Does AA serve HNL from ORD? From DFW? From LAX?

AA serves HNL from:

LAX
SFO
SJC
DFW
ORD

I think they also serve LIH (from LAX), KOA (from LAX) and OGG (from LAX, ORD, DFW and SFO).

Thanks, Aloha. Are these routes all operated by 763ERs? Or are there 752s involved as well?

ORD and DFW are all 763. SFO and LAX are a mix of 763 and 752 (seasonal and time of day) and SJC is just 752. I forgot....they also fly OGG-SJC on a 752.

Aloha!

majority of their routes to HI is on the B767-300's. i know i've seen SJC/LAX to HI be flown by B757's (the LAX-HNL flt i believe was the evening flight out on the 757)

I know that HNL and OGG get 763's from DFW and ORD, and are almost positive that LIH and KOA get 757's. As for the West Coast-HNL/OGG routes, I am not sure of the exact numbers, but it is a 757/763 mix.

AA uses the following aircraft on routes to:

HNL-LAX mix of 763s & 757s depending on season.
HNL-SFO 757s, 763s & 757s during peak season.
HNL-SJC 757s
HNL-DFW 763s
HNL-ORD 763s

LAX-LIH 757s
LAX-KOA 757s
OGG-SFO 757s
OGG-LAX 757s, 757s & 763s during peak season.
OGG-ORD 763
OGG-DFW 763

I think this is how it is op'd.

What days do the B752s operate into HNL? I always seem to see the B763.

Photographed a B762 replace one of those routes listed above. Must have been pretty rare!

If you simply go to AA.com and pull up their electronic timetable you'll be able to see the schedule and aircraft for yourself.

Try using the Airline/Airport option on http://www.flightarrivals.com.

http://www.flightarrivals.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/Flights.woa/4/wo/Ge7mf2FvQWvokC0J84/2.13 SHOULD work later. Right now it doesn't cause it's 5am in HNL.

AA periodically substitutes 763s to KOA, when loads permit.
