Croatia Airlines BWK- ZAG Service.

I am going to Croatia this summer and i am hoping to us OU from BWK (Brac) my home island to ZAG. I am not able to find any scheduling on Croatiaairlines.hr at all. I am hoping that the schedule will appear soon. I would also know if they will even be offering this service as it is usually done 2 times daily in the summer on an ATR 42. Any information would be great.

I don't think that they fly x2 daily even in the summer. I remember that they flew on a Saturday and a Sunday to Brac. Maybe this summer they will fly more, I have seen the airport on Brac it is amazing, perched high above the sea, it must be a great approach.

There are many flights from Split-Kastela however and the market to Brac is small.

I dont think OU ever flew daily service to BRAC, I think they only flew a couple times a week from ZAG and SPU or DBV.

Brac is served even less than Zadar which is only double daily in summer. Brac used to have daily weekend flights and possibly a midweek extra flight, but never double daily. Croatia Airlines website never gets updated regulary so dont expect details on Brac until mid summer at the earliest.

I don't think so because Air adriatic operate MD80. If you see Brac airport you'll know why it can't take an MD80.

Brac runway is 1,320 meters long and on top of a mountain. I think only very small jets and turboprops can land here.

I think Croatia airlines run charter flights from Austria to Brac.

I never been to Brac, I plan on going there this summer, But i wont be flying into the airport, most likely just take a ferry there.

Arriving at Split airport is fun, which ever end of the runway you come on you will have great views of the coast. I hope you are flying when it's light. From Split Kastela airport you can see Brac, it's only 20km away.

I have flown into Split twice, the view is beautiful, this year I am flying into Zadar,thats where my family is from, and will probably take a bus to Split then a ferry to Brac
