Let's gloss a bit here (Neil ):
Double daily YUL-FRA (AC)
Double daily YUL-CDG (AC)
Doublke daily YUL-LHR (AC)
Triple daily to CDG (AF)
Daily to LHR (BA)
Daily to MS / EHAM), Netherlands">AMS (KL)
Daily to CMN (AT)
Daily to ZRH (LX)
4 x weekly to AT) (closed), Greece AND CURRENT: Athens - Eleftherios Venizelos (Spata) (ATH / LGAV), Greece">ATH (OA)
3 x weekly to PRG (OK)
2 x weekly to CAI (MS)
1 x wekly to PDL (S4)
1 x weekly to LGW (Thomas Cook)
2 x weekly to FSP (Air saint-Pierre)
And other international destinations:
Many times weekly to: HOG, CYO, PUJ, FDF, PTP, PAP etc.... (AC)
Three times weekly to HAV (CU)
Daily to MX), Mexico">MEX (MX)
And you can see, YUL is lacking YUL-South America flights. It will come soon.
This is based on summer 2004 schedule. I probably missed a few.

Thank you aviationman for this flight description of YUL
but i think this is only the prevision of this summer...
when the transfers of AT (air transat) in P-E Trudeau is complete,
more south flight will be had, yes charter but weekly.

I believe it's October 4th. Not 100% sure though. By the way....FYI...AT is Royal Air Maroc. TS is Air Transat. Just thought I should clarify this one.

Allô,
If you meant the Montreal area, then you can also add Corsair (6x a weekly to YMX) and the 23 or 24 weekly flights TS operates to Europe all summer long.
Also, Corsair (can't remember their code!) is thinking about becoming a regular to YUL instead of just a charter but no words yet whether they would serve YUL on a year-round basis or just during summer.
Aviationman, I don't think Zoom will be able to operate successfully 7 or 8 weekly between YUL and CDG when they have never flown on this route before. Also, it would rely mostly on O&D and I don’t think there’s a need for another 2000 seats a week on this route now.
They should look on the most striking missing direct link between YUL and Europe: FCO! I still don’t get it. Only one weekly flight to Rome (TS from YMX)!!!
Regards.

Because they are a no-name on this route and at this price, they will need very high loads on all their flights to brake even. Like I said, it will be almost exclusively O&D so they will have to put in place a major marketing campaign in Paris on a very short notice.
I wish them good luck but I think a daily flight is simply too much but hopefully, they will prove me wrong

Aren't you the one who provided a link regarding Zoom stating that they were scheduling 8x weekly flights between YUL and CDG? Can't remember for sure but I think it was you!
If it's not the case, how many flight do they plan?
Eric

YUL332LX, were you talking about ZOOM or Corsair? This is confusing. Corsair is already operating skeds from YMX. Corsair operates "seasonal" skeds from YMX. It was their choice to stay in YMX. They were offered to move their skeds to YUL but decided to stay in YMX. Starting next fall, the Corsair skeds will move to YUL....They'll have no choice!
A good friend of mine is in charge of Inflight Service @ ZOOM. I will fly with them next month YOW-HOG. They offer hot towels, hot meals, free drinks, etc.....
I know ZOOM is not planning daily service YUL-Paris.....But 3 times a week maybe?

Eric, no you are wrong. The link I provided was 12 weekly YUL/YYZ-Paris flights. It could be 3 x YUL-CDG, 9 x YYZ-CDG, etc...... No I did not provide such info.

I provided several links to the YUL-CDG possible flights. Many articles were published lately. If one of them was mentioning 8 x weekly.....Well I do not support it.
