I will be flying WN on 7/21 on flight 2310 and 7/23 on flight 1285 and I was wondering what type of 737 I will be on? Also is there any site out there that the public can get to that tells you what plane your on for WN flights?

If the flights 2310 and 1285 youre talking about are DAL-AUS and AUS-DAL, you might get the -200 or good chances you probably be on a -300.

Skyguide.net will tell you the exact variant of 737 for Southwest flights. Of course, flights are subject to substitution, but I have found Skyguide to be pretty accurate.

When will SWA retire their -200's? And will they go into new colours?

They are gonna trade with NW for their DC9s.

2310 is on a 737-200
1285 is on a 737-500

They should all be gone by this time next year, and maybe a little sooner...

N96SW is the only -200 painted in the blue scheme, and none of the others will be painted before retirement...

I'm going to miss them. Sad Sounds like they are about to phase out their -500s and eventually down the road, the -300s will be history as well. Talk about fleet commonality. Insane
