The original plan was for the DC10s to continue flying routes to/from the US mainland to Hawaii. NW flies to HNL from DTW (seasonal), MSP, SEA (sometimes 2 flights per day), SFO (suspended I believe), and LAX (also not operating at the moment) and from SEA to Maui. Under the DC10 renewal program, the A333s were to be operated on transatlantic routes exclusively, the A332s on lower-capacity transpacific services (it seems that SFO-Tokyo plus the to-be-launched PDX-Tokyo services will introduce the A332) plus a transatlantic segment here and there, and the 753s were to operate high demand domestic services including interhub flights.
The plans seem to have been revised, with the 753s to operate west coast-Hawaii services, including the re-introduction of the LAX-HNL, SFO-HNL, and the second daily SEA-HNL flight - before anyone complains about NW operating a narrow-body on a long-haul flight, please remember that yeilds on flights to Hawaii are not great, lots of travellers use reward tickets on Hawaiian routes, and the 753 has very-low per seat costs, it is the right aircraft for the job.
That leaves DTW-HNL and MSP-HNL, which are clearly out of range for the 753.....my guess is that these 2 routes will be among the last operated by NW's DC10s, and after the 10s are gone, will then be operated by a special configuration 742 (if they are still around) or 744, or, if NW orders a few additional A330s, a higher-density version of the A333 with a low-capicity domestic type first class cabin. I guess NW is playing wait and see at the moment, a lot depends on how the A332s perform on the transpacific routes.

The SEA-AMS will go to A330 later this year. All DTW-AMS are 330's..DTW-FRA 330's...LGW will later this year go to 330's. MSP-AMS will change in 2005 to A330's. The SFO-NRT in Oct/Nov change to A330...PDX-NRT will in Nov go to A330.
They have not totally decided WHEN the -30 will be gone...2005-2006 as of right now.
