What documentation do international flight crews have to show when they land at a foreign destination? Do they show passports (seems like they would fill up quickly) or do they have a special form of ID or do they even have to go through customs at all?

Texas- it's like a whole different country!

Some cities we fly to it's all done electronically and we bypass customs completely (like LHR). Other countries we have to sign in and the passports are collected for inspection while the passengers deplane and we get them back as we leave the airport for our hotel (Delhi). It kinda depends on the country. Last time I was in Hong Kong I begged them to stamp my passport but they wouldn't do it! I just wanted it as a souvenier, but they just wouldn't stamp it. They thought I was joking!

As a FA for United based in SFO I am required to have a People's Republic of China Visa for multiple entries and exits as well as a French Visa.

Hope this helps...

The debate continues... Starwood or Hyatt... which is better
