Hi,

Could anyone give me the loads on flights SA221 to CPT and SA229 to JNB on April 1st. (Both flights from LHR).

I am trying to Non-Rev out there and would appreciate knowing the loads so that I can judge which flight to get.

Thanks for any help

B747-4U3,

Have just spoken with a mate at SAA and the flights look like this.

SA235 STD 1930 LHR/JNB +2/-2/-24
SA221 STD 2105 LHR/CPT +6/+1/-8
SA229 STD 2130 LHR/JNB +6/-5/-13

He suggests you list for the first one and see how it goes!

Good Luck!

Bobg

Beware....SAA puts non-rev embargoes on flights at certain periods and this being the run up to Easter they may not accept you at all. I'd double check with the airline before even going to the airport.

After Monday and Tuesday even the calendar says WTF...

What does +2/-2/-24 mean? Does that mean they're overbooked in First by 2 and have 24 free seats in Economy?

Hi Andz,

Thanks for your help. I have a cruise leaving from CPT on the 6th April so I want to get down before then so that I can have a few days in CPT.

I think I will try the BA flight to CPT first (although the loads aren't particuarly good -17 when I last checked) and then failing that I will give the SAA flights a go.

If worse come to the worse I will have to go via Nairobi (LHR-NBO-JNB-CPT) as the loads out to NBO are +23 on the BA089.

Thank you very much. That info is very helpful.

Best Wishes,
James

Sorry Bobg, in the rush I was in last night I got onfused and forgot to thank you as well. Anyway, thanks for getting the loads, it means that I can now decide on my next move.

Besy Wishes,
James
