Southwest announced today that it will expand its new service at PHL from 14 flights per day to 28 flights per day - the new services include nonstops from PHL to LAX, FLL, PBI, HOU, Manchester (4), RDU (4), and New Orleans, plus an additional service to TPA. Southwest seems to be very serious about the PHL market and US is right to be worried about Southwest's entry into PHL.
Its interesting that Southwest will open with flights to key destinations such as LAX, LAS and the important Florida cities - really hitting US where it hurts the most - its clear that SOuthwest will increase frequencies over time where required (likey to be all routes).

Wow! Southwest is a flying LCC shark and it smells the blood of US Airways in Philadelphia. It's kind of like watching that National Geographic program where you see voracious shark pulling those sea birds beneath the waves. It's sad for the loser but it's no less a reality. I'm going to miss U.S. Airways.
...But then again, there's always the video clip of the birds that miraculously evade the toothy predators! Fly, U.S. Airways, fly!!!
