Have never seen a WN 73G @ HNL, but over 20 years ago, AQ leased a 732 from WN in full WN colors, with "Aloha" over the front windows and the tail where "Southwest" is painted.
I would not doubt that WN would try this to see if a 73G could cross the Pacific, AQ & FJ prove that it can be done.
It has been specualted that WN might start service to HNL, but many have said it may not be profitable for them to enter this market for a number of reasons. One being that they must set aside a number of 73Gs for ETOPS certification, which none are at the moment. Another, is could they keep the same turn around time as they do on the mainland? Are among the concerns that have been addressed.

southwest has no plans for hawaii service. when aloha was planning to start their new 737-700 service from hnl to the west coast, there was a delay in the delivery of their a/c, so they leased a 737 from wn to perform the test proving flights over the ocean. by doing so with the aloha certificate but a southwest plane, both airlines are now authorized the ops from west coast to hawaii with a 737NG.
