Press release from Malaysia Airlines has stated that MH74/75 returns to service - since the Gulf War and SARS epidemic scaled back its Hong Kong operations a while back.
The new flight will be operated by the A330-200 six times a week whilst the A330-300 will operate the remaining weekly service to make 7 extra flights between KL and HKG. Flights depart KUL in the evenings and overnight in HKG before flying back to KL the next morning.
MAS will also increase its Kota Kinabalu-Hong Kong service from 4 weekly 737s to 6 flights a week operating daily except Fridays. In addition, the flights will also continue on to Kuching.

Great news, I need all the -200's and the -300 they have got back!!
I've also noted the KK flight goes fom MH060 to MH062. In the past this flight was a code share with KA, both airlines operating the route on different days. Will they now both operate the route on the same days or have KA stopped?

BA, "Sentiasa Melepasi Jangkaan" means "Going Beyond Expectations", which is the new slogan for Malaysia Airlines. Actually you could hardly ever find the Malay version anywhere (I've only seen it once), even back home we stick to the English version most of the time.
