All 744 flights to LAX,SFO, and ORD have been changed to a 777, why though? It is sad to see these aircraft leave DEN.

Just a wild guess, but maybe the revenue/loads generated on those flights does not justify the 744. I think they now operate ORDLAX and ORDSFO.

I'm pretty sure these routes change fairly often, and also are determined where the 744 or 772 is needed. Don't worry i'm sure they'll be back.

As stated above, they change back and forth somewhat often. Lufthansa still brings in their 744 though, so that's nice.

Any reason why it's either 3 flights or nothing? All three 744 flights were terminated today.

Hisham.

Doesnt LH fly the B744 to DEN? I know they did at one point but I'm not sure they have switched to an A340

HISHAM,
You take awesome photos, you must have some real nice spots to sit and watch these beauties. A few buddies and I were at work looking at your pics and they all said WOW, we change our computer wallpaper all the time and your pics have been on many times.

Seasonal schedule adjustments. The 744's will be back. These flights always alternate between 777/744 depending on the time of year. It's been this way for the past four or five years at least. When I was in DEN on the 23rd, I saw three UAL 744's all lined up on B next to each other (one of the plane's had brought me in from SFO). It was an impressive sight to say the least...much more impressive than 3 777's lined up in my opinion.

Even when the UA 744s aren't scheduled into DEN, its not uncommon to see one there on a plane swap!

MSYTristar and Syncmaster are right on this one. UA only temporarily stops serving DEN with 744s...ever since 2001 I believe they have been alternating the 744/772 on these routes. They always come back. And the 744s will be with UA for a long time to come it looks like, so DEN spotters have plenty of time left to enjoy them I would think  Big grin

Know this is off topic but I'm saying it anyways.....

Hisham, saw some of your pics for the first time about 2 or 3 weeks ago....they are awesome. I looked through almost all of them and many of them made it as my wallpaper, on several (5) machines. Thanks!  Big thumbs up
