I just wanted to ask a quick question to anyone who has flown this route or simply knows the answer to my question...how long does the flight actually take from Singapore to Los Angeles? I'm on Thursday's flight and the published times on my itenerary are 16:30 hrs on SQ 020 going to LAX and 18:15 hrs on SQ 019 coming back. I know that often the published flight times are heavily padded (like NRT-LAX usually taking 8:30 hrs when it says something like 10:00 hrs on the schedule) so I was wondering what the usual actual flying time is...

SIN-LAX generally takes around 12 hours. Your schedule time is 1630 but the flight has been landing around 2pm or before that even. The westbound flight however is closer to the scheduled 16+ hours since it's flying against the headwinds.

Scheduled arrival is 4 PM, isn't it? If so, this doesn't add up.
