Just an observation.....

A while ago, all seats in June and July from CPH to BEY were showing sold out. And all seats from BEY to CPH in July amd August were showing sold out as well....

Well, looks like there are plenty of seats available right now.....

What's the scoop here!!!

Things have to go off-topic somehow.

your talk makes absolutely no sense.Make a little search about Lebanon & Beirut and you'll get the totally opposite idea.Whenever Lebanon is mentioned on news channels worldwide,it is regarded as a terrorist country.Get out of this whirlpool!!
Have a look at MEA's comeback,Beirut's comeback, all that have been done to promote tourism in Lebanon..

Surprising to know that seats are available after all the talks about the flights being fully booked.Maybe people will fly MEA now that they're going to CPH in the summer?A possibility..

Hezbollah terrorists? LOL thats just funny. April fools to you too my friend...

That comment is just as far from the truth as the thread about Delta ordering 20 A380s.

I dont think its possible that people refunded their Snowflake tickets in order to switch over to MEA. The Snowflake seats were showing sold up until the inauguration flight from CPH to BEY on March 29. That could have some tie-in somewhere.

Isn't it the case that Snowflake has increased the frequency to BEY due to demand and thus seats have become open on the new days of operation?

Corect me if I am wrong...

I believe the CPH flights are operated using a Boeing 737-800.

Can someone come up with the difference in seats between a DC-9 and a 738?

Well for starters there is:
the position of the engines
he position of the horisontal stabiliser
width of cabin
age
max number of passengers
the shape of wings

And SAS/snowflake no longer fly the DC9

737-800:

747400F - he was asking about the "difference in seats" - not the difference in age, exterior design or anything else.

The DC-9-10: seating for 80 in a single class, 5 abreast layout. Max. seating of 90.

The DC-9-30: max. seating for 115 in a single class, 5 abreast layout. Standard single class capacity of 105.

The DC-9-40: seating for up to 125 passengers at 5 abreast.

The DC-9-50: seating for up to 139 passengers at 5 abreast.

The 737-800: typical two-class seating for 162 with 12 first class seats at 4 abreast and 150 economy at 6 abreast. Max. single class seating for 189.

Evidently the 738 can carry quite a few more passengers than the largest-capacity DC9 (the -50 series).
