LH A346 MUC-SFO

I have noticed the A346 has been coming into SFO a few times. Sabre shows it as a A343. Anyone know why the sub? Is SFO expected to see the A346 on a regular schedule during the summer, which is high season for San Francisco?

Yes, the A340-600 is schedualed three or four days a week on the Munich-SFO route. I believe it will be a dedicated A340-600 at the end of June. I have also seen it and it is one loooong aircraft.

As739x, did you see it take off yesterday (31/03)? Then that was the same plane (D-AIHH) that I saw take off yesterday at MUC... that thing really is LONG!!! It is some sight... but I have to say that... I prefer Airbusses... Big grin

MUC-SFO will move all-A346 from June 8th, when MUC gets its 3 dedicated A340-600 based.
