Hey,

I am flying to FLL next week from YYZ. I am going with Air Transat on their A330-200 and returning on the A330-300. What can I expect. I am excited since the 330 is my favourite plane and I havent flown on one since my last flight to Trinidad with Canada 3000's C-GGWA. Let me know what you guys think about Air Transats 330's and service.

Regards,

BWIA330

It was the quietest flight I have ever been on.

Air Transat's A330-200's are tight, the 300's are somewhat better thanks to 8 across seating, instead of 9 across. Otherwise, if you've flown on C3's A330's, you know what to expect. It's a comfortable ride, and it's much nicer looking inside the Transat A330's, with the blue interiors, rather than flaming red.

Enjoy the ride.

Yes, and after the meal service pick-up, there would be a spelling bee for all the pax on-board!  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

Can you take some pics for me of the Club Class section of the plane. I am flying TS YYZ-GLA this summer and want to know if it is worth it to upgrade. Pictures would be nice as well as any description you could get. There is no way to contact you, so contact me at tortuse@canada.com. Thanks!

Actually I am flying to FLL on Staurday and they have upgraded the equipment from 330-200 to 330-300 for both legs (Apr 3 & 13)

Last time I flew with them it was their original L1011

Seat pitch on the TS A330-200 is not very good but is tolerable for the short flight down to FLL. Wouldn't want to take that aircraft transatlantic for sure. The seat pitch on the L1011 was good, too bad they are almost gone :-(

A friend of mine flew CDG-YMX on the -300, he says that it was a comfortable ride and the product is ok. The only downside is that seat 9K where he was seated had no window, so definatly a seat to avoid.

I chose to pay the extra $10 and pre-pick my seat....11 a/b both legs...with the size of the doors, the leg room is great, as good if not better than their club class.

I'll give you an update when I return

YVRtoYYZ,

Be sure to report back on what you think on Glasgow, unless you are just using GLA to connect, if you've already been; what are thoughts and what could be done to improve Glasgow?

GLAGAZ.

I haven't been to GLA in 12 years. Before that, used to fly into Prestwick on Wardair. From what I understand, there has been significant up-grades to the terminal, ramp and infrastructure of GLA.
