Read on SkyNet that beginning in May, E-Travel will be activated, which will eliminate the use of the paper "write-your-own" tickets we've used for years. The whole listing process will remain the same, just no filling out passes anymore.

AA did away with "paper" passes years ago. All our employee & guest travel is 100% electronic.

Yeah this is good news. UA is way behind on this one and it will save money.

this is great news. i hate write your owns.. i always have some stuffed in my flt bag if i can't get the jumpseat and will enjoy not having to uncrumple them at the ticket counter just to get home... now only if i had a cell phone plan that was free to call ual list i'd be golden.

Agreed! I think most airlines have gone to E-Tickets for NRSA travel, or at least the ones that I know (DL and HP).

Once again, welcome to the 21st Century, UA!

F9 just went to e-tickets for buddy pass flyers. Nice and simple, the way it should be. All of the regular Space Available travel has been done electronically for some time now.

And bringing up the rear...United Airlines. I think every other airline has already switched to this system.
