The Masters kicks off today. I was there back in 2002, and believe me, if you enjoy bizjets, this is the place to be. I would expect a couple DL 767's or 757's were or will find there way to AGS at some point this weekend.

Dats da Masters my boy. I would have thought they would have gone in earlier though. Doesnt the tournament start at 1?

Aiken Municipal Airport (AIK) and Augusta Daniel Field Airport (DNL) also see a bunch of traffic for this event. No airliners however.

Yeah, AGS is kickin'! I was there yesterday... 30 mile final to runway 35 (with a tailwind I might add ) and a really long wait for departure. It was a money maker for us but the folks were less than pleased.
There is a great selection of aircraft there to see. I saw a couple BBJ's, a Global Express (sweet) and an ATA 737-800. Naturally, there were more Falcons, Gulfstreams and Hawkers than I could count.
And it's all to watch a dude smash the tar out of a little white ball. Amazing!

Continental has a 737 on all of the morning flights from EWR this week as an upgrade from the ERJ...nice!

On top of AGS, DNL and AIK if you like Corporate HQU (Thomson-Macduffie County) is also good although not as populated as the others.
I've been twice.
It's Teterboro in Augusta for four days. One after another constantly, with a good cross section of types. Many different foreign Corporate flights as well.
I saw on Red1Aviation.com that EFF005 arrived from BGR on Thursday. This is a GLF5 that uses the callsign "Emerald 5", it is registered EI-WGV. I saw it at SDF a couple of years for the Kentuckey Derby.
