CO/Cape Air Extend Agreement To Include RSW-EYW

Continental and Cape Air have extneded thier agreement in which Cape Air operates certain intra-Florida flights under the Continental Connection banner. Effective 4 May 2004, Cape Air's RSW-EYW flights will also be under the Continental Conneciton banner.

Cape Air and Continental Connection offer intra-Florida service between Tampa and Daytona Beach, Ft. Myers, and Sarasota and between Miami and Naples.

yeah, its caused a small mess down here in Key West as Cape Air has their own lil terminal  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

But this means more of my buddies will get laid off, it seems...

I hope to take advantage of this as I frequent RSW a few times a year. Maybe there will be even more stuff after that new terminal opens up next year.

the odd thing is that Cape Air flies privately here at FLL, and Gulfstream flies under CO to TPA and EYW! why couldn't CO just make up their mind!

Make up thier mind about what? Cape Air operates certain routes as Continental Connection and certain ones under Cape Air. The FLL routes are Cape Air.

Does this also effect the Cape Air flights to Nantucket, and also the Cape Air flights out of Puerto Rico?
