Ok...I have a few questions pertaining service...
1) what is the earliest that LGA service will commence? My grandparents are coming down to FLL in June and I'd rather meet them at the jetBlue gate!
2) does jetBlue give gate passes...to 2 family members of elderly people (their daughter and 16 year old grandson)?
3) When will the first EMB190 delivery be?
4) When and where do you think service will be to? Do you think that there is going to be a lot of shuffeling and additions in the coming months to accomidate the changeover?

Can tell about EMB-190, they´re expected to be deliverd 1st half 2005, but as hapenned with 170, the certification can take some time, and probably they´ll deliver it like half/late 2005, but for sure by the end of next year U´ll se EMB-190´s around JFK to all over US.
Have a friend who work´s for Embraer, he told me JetBlue will probably use the 190 in routes were the A320´s capacity isn´t being fully used and in new routes that don´t have that big demand.
the bet about 190 is the range, like departing JFK it easily reach all southern-east US, the mid west, and even Bahamas, like San Juan, etc.
have a nice easter holiday

your right...the Emb190's are scheduled to come online around Aug time frame of 2005. no word yet on what city pairs the E190 will fly.
LGA service was delayed till later this summer. more than likely it'll just be to florida to start since there's only 10 slots being alloted to us.
regarding the gate passes. the only people i've seen w/ gate passes are parents meeting their children who just traveled alone. i've never seen someone meet an elderly person at the gate (maybe its possible). All you have to do is ask the agent at the ticket counter.

Re: the gate passes, they most likely will allow it, at JFK at least. A few months ago my grandmother was flying back to Florida, and I asked for a pass so I could walk her to her gate- they gave me one right away.
