Does anyone here think that PNE will ever get airline service again? I know that TWA and Ransome used to serve that airport but i don't believe that any airline serves PNE now.

The next generation of aircraft is just around the corner!

Personally, I don't think so, PNE has always mainly been a corporate and GA reliever for PHL and I see it staying that way for the foreseeable future...

I dont know, Hummer. PHL is so congested that it is less and less desirable for short hops to East Coast business center. Some sort of shuttle service to DCA, LGA and BOS from PEN wouldn't be out of the question, in my eyes. Not in this economic climate, however.

TW Express did pretty well, and only left PNE because their overall economic picture became less rosy.

Finally, the NIMBYs have a loud voice at PNE, as it is surrounded on a few sides by residential districts (including where I played little league, just across US 1 from the airport).
