Do you know if the flights will be operated with Braathens or SAS plane?

That was actually a very interesting question. I would love to hear some answers on that as well. Because I thought they would have 1 livery on their aircraft.
I wonder what new routes SAS Denmark and SAS Sweden have for us then. Big grin

All flights except Alicante and those to London Gatwick (BU) will be on SK planes!

Will they still be called BU and SK? Once again I am confused.
I always thought BU would disapear and everything would be SAS Norway.

The new name in Norway is SAS Braathens, this will be the unit serving domestic and European routes to/from Norway. They will still use BU and SK codes but will have the flexibility to use aircrafts from both airline. In the future there will probably be one code and one airline livery (coordinated with Sweden and Denmark of course).

Ahhh OK...

Thanks for the info Vadheim. I have really been interested how that would work out since they announced the splitting up of SAS.

SAS Braathens will fly to Prague!? That's great. Prague has really become an important airport within the Central Europe,if not a new worldwide hub (just check the new Korean Air flights to Seoul for example).

A friend phoned me an hour ago from Prague and said there is a huge group of Canadians transferring from Montreal to Split via Prague.  Smile/happy/getting dizzy

I think it's very nice for Norway to get some new non-stop routes from Gardemoen! Good Luck SAS Braathens!

Looks like you should see loads of SAS on the ground on Tuesdays! Why no flights?

They will fly to excisting destinations I guess! SAS Braathens have already a large domestic, intra-Scandinavian and European network from OSL from Longyear/Spitsbergen in the north to Las Palmas in the south  Smile

And not to forget that there are already nonstop flights from Norway to Prague. The low cost carrier "Norwegian" operates nonstop service from both Oslo and Trondheim to Prague using their B737-300.

SAS Braathens is the new name for SAS in Norway and flights to/from Norway. The livery on the planes are not yet ready. Uncertain if the flights will be SK or BU, most likely SK...or at least I hope.

Oslo airport has had a rush of new services this spring/summer....nice.
