CZ are considering starting service to Kabul as well as Peshawar in Pakistan's North West Frontier province, routing will be either Urumqi-Kashi-Peshawar or Urumqi-Kabul-Peshawar, most likely with a 757 or a 737, PEW will be their second destination in Pakistan, where they also serve Islamabad (gained from China Xinjiang) PIA used to serve Urumqi in the early 70's, while Ariana fly there once a week with a 727. Kashi (also known as Kashgar or Kashigar) is located in south of Xinjiang province. CZ will also be the first east Asian carrier to serve Afghanistan and Peshawar.
