Definitely good news for Hawaiian and SAN. I had thought that HA had pretty much canceled all OGG-California service, given it's taken them this long to load the new flight into their schedules, much less announce it altogether.
At any rate, good to see that SAN-OGG held its own last year, at least enough to warrant another seasonal service. SAN-HNL seems to have become a well-established route, even though all of my observations on its performance are purely amateur and anecdotal. Hopefully, SAN-OGG will go year-round sometime in the next year or two.

What I don't understand is why LAX doesn't see an OGG flight when it appears to be a good route, with a few airlines like UA and AA offering quite a few flights.
