I flew yesterday in Lan Dominicana (4M), and I tried to get my miles, and they told me that they couldnt since only Lan Chile and Lan Peru could get them, I replyed saying that I thought that all LAN airlines were grouped and only one, and I am supposed to get my miles, they told me that I couldnt.
I just want to know if the proposed grouping of the LAN affiliates is going to happen?
By the way, LAN gives an incredible service onboard.
I did MIA-SDQ with AA and SDQ-MIA with LAN Dominicana, and I just cant believe the service that they gave us on board.
Now I know why people talk good about LAN.

This depends when LAN Ecuador and LAN Dominicana will Oneworld Member due in both LAN own less than 50% so that means there are not automatically
Oneword Member.
This has to be decided by the OW members. In this case it highly depends on AA & IB whether both will be OW Member. Hopefully they will decide somtime this year.
That´s the reason why you can´t get any mileage on those flights yet.
