I haven't posted a picture to my website yet, so it might be hard. But it is a single-engine prop plane, with a T-tail (horiz. stab. at the top), retractable landing gear, black leading edge wing & elevator surfaces, and winglets. I noticed that the right wing (as viewed from the cockpit) had a different winglet with a round black thing at the front where the winglet meets the front of the wing.

I saw this plane at my airport's FBO as it was getting ready to leave but did not get a reg#, however I seem to recall seeing a C-xxxx canadian registration on the side. I am guessing it is some sort of Cessna but i am not sure.

Damn! That is it!!!! You are good.... its a pilatus

my shot was a straight on so i could not see any of the angles near the tail or the looooong nose in front of the cockpit.

Why is this plane built with that black thing on only one wing?

Im sure that it houses the information for radar, weather, comm equipotent, etc....but I am not sure. Probably go to the website of the manufacturer and they may have more information.

That's the radome. The radar antenna, located in the nose of most airplanes, has to go somewhere else in a single-engine piston or turboprop.
